Hands-On Assists Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Workshop
A skillful hands-on adjustment in a yoga class can be transformational and life changing for your students. At the same time, an inadequate adjustment is more detrimental than no adjustment at all. Learn how to give masterful hands-on assists that are both educational and empowering for your students and discover the art of service and attention through refining and practicing your touch under Amy’s watchful eye.
This workshop is designed to provide you with skills in a wide variety of manual assists in order to add depth and sophistication to your teachings. Come explore adjustments for a full spectrum of poses in a delicious exchange of loving hands that will radically expand your teaching repertoire.

Yoga Nerd: Geek Out on Shoulder Anatomy
Taking the time to understand your shoulder anatomy is a game-changer for a long-term yoga practice. After an enthusiastic overview of the shoulder girdle, Amy will help you align more effectively in all your chest and quad opening poses, standing poses, sun salutations, and backbends while holistically addressing common injuries such as rotator cuff, tendonitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Open to all levels.
Get Lakshmi in Your Posse: Abundance and Transformation
Discover how to bring more abundance, prosperity, and personal transformation into your life through the lessons of the Goddess, Lakshmi. She is the Goddess of abundance and wealth but also shows us how to turn our human liabilities into assets so you can make a more genuine contribution to the world around you. We will begin with satsang and storytelling followed by an action packed asana practice with Lakshmi’s electrifying teachings woven into the mix. Open to all levels.
Ganesh’s Secret to Life: Go for the Goods!
Ganesh is the most recognizable of the Hindu deities, with his unmistakable elephant head and pot-bellied human body. His peculiar physique and unique iconography have long been a source of inspiration for all who must come to terms with their bodies and accept themselves.In this workshop, Amy will weave teachings about self-love, the importance of good boundaries, and Ganesh’s biggest secret for living the good life. Through a broad sequence of challenging balancing poses and arm balances, leave with a new sense of self and freedom! Open to all levels.
